Arizona Gov. Election In Doubt As AG Demands Answers
“These complaints go beyond pure speculation, but include first-hand witness accounts that raise concerns regarding Maricopa’s lawful compliance with Arizona election law,”
(Republican Insider) – The attorney general’s office in the state of Arizona has now ordered that officials in Maricopa County, an area that has been plagued by election shenanigans, submit a report concerning the incredibly poor handling of the November 8 midterm elections that ended up leading to an apparent victory for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Katie Hobbs over GOP candidate Kari Lake, going on to say the answers are needed before the election results can be certified.
You know the radical left is not happy about this order handed down from the attorney general. It’s stalling their attempts to likely steal yet another election. It’s imperative that some sort of investigation be carried out to determine if Hobbs really is the winner. There’s so much that doesn’t add up in Maricopa County.
The Daily Wire said, “In a letter from the election integrity unit of Attorney General Mark Brnovich’s office, a top official cited evidence of ‘statutory violations’ in the contest, in which Hobbs, who as secretary of state, oversees elections, overcame huge deficits in the polls. There were widespread malfunctions of voting machines in conservative areas of the state’s most populous county, which became a national punchline as it took more than a week to tally votes.”
“These complaints go beyond pure speculation, but include first-hand witness accounts that raise concerns regarding Maricopa’s lawful compliance with Arizona election law,” wrote Assistant Attorney General Jennifer Wright in a letter on Saturday addressed to the county’s chief civil division attorney, Thomas Liddy.
Wright has requested a full report explaining how the tabulator and printer malfunctions at close to 60 different voting locations in Maricopa County were addressed on the day of the election, as well as asking for a copy of each voting location’s Official Ballot Report, including any and all discrepancies and explanations for what happened.
These people mean business. It’s time to hold the left accountable for their plots. And if these issues were not caused intentionally, then they need to be held to account for their carelessness and incompetence.
“Lake, who led in some polls by double digits heading into the election, has expressed skepticism that it was conducted honestly, saying ‘Arizonans know B.S. when they see it.’ Her team has been gathering and tweeting testimonials of voters who said they were turned away when they tried to vote, watched as their ballots were rendered defective, or tabulated improperly,” the Daily Wire continued.
The letter penned by Wright points out possible legal violations concerning the way poll workers handled the ballots that could not be counted by the tabulator machines. Widespread reports stated that those particular ballots were then collected separately, but without proper security.
Surely the election officials in the county realize how shady all of this looks, right? This is the second time their elections have had issues. To not have proper security around while attempting to handle people’s ballots seems incredibly suspicious.
“Maricopa County appears to have failed to adhere to the statutory guidelines in segregating, counting, tabulating, tallying, and transporting the ‘Door 3’ ballots,” Wright asserted in the letter. “In fact, Maricopa County has admitted that in some voting locations, ‘Door 3’ non-tabulated ballots were commingled with tabulated ballots at the voting location.”
Wright then cited a sworn statement from an election observer who commented that the non-tabulated ballots were shoved into duffle bags, and potentially mixed in with votes that had already been tabulated.
As of this writing the state of Arizona has not yet certified an official winner of the gubernatorial contest, however that is due to take place at the beginning of the new month. Wright remarked that the report requested must be submitted before the results of the election can be certified.
“Arizonans deserve a full report and accounting of the myriad problems that occurred in relation to Maricopa County’s administration of the 2022 General Election,” Wright noted in the letter. “As the canvass is looming, and these issues relate to Maricopa County’s ability to lawfully certify election results – the Unit requests a response to the aforementioned issues on or before Maricopa County submits its official canvass to the Secretary of State, which must occur on or before November 28, 2022.”
