‘Biden Is Weak, And It Shows’: Biden Talks To Ukraine And Tries To Appease Russia
Appeasement didn't work too well with Hitler just before World War 2 . . .
After President Joe Biden has already threatened Russian President Vladamir Putin with sanctions, the US and Ukraine are prepping for the Russian military to invade Ukraine over border territories.
Biden had a 90-minute phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and tried to stop the invasion. US involvement or support for Ukraine would be inadequate right now, especially with China threatening to invade Taiwan.
He said that the US military would increase its presence in Eastern Europe if Russia invaded Ukraine. Still, you can almost certainly blame Russia’s bold military presence on the withdrawal from Afghanistan. Weakness on the world stage is never a positive thing.
The White House has said, “Biden reaffirmed the United States’ unwavering commitment to Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. He made clear that the United States and its allies and partners are committed to the principle of “no decisions or discussions about Ukraine without Ukraine.”
A senior Biden administration official also said, “I know there’s been a lot of speculation in the press about whether or not concessions to Russia were discussed on the calls.” There most certainly were not.”
The tensions haven’t ceased, and it doesn’t appear that Putin is concerned with the Biden administration’s sanctions. They may seem emboldened because Biden waived sanctions on Russia’s Nord Stream 2 Pipeline. The move could have set off a chain reaction, and the Biden administration’s failures certainly haven’t helped.
Biden said, “We hope to be able to say and announce to you that we’re having higher-level meetings, not just with us, but with at least four of our major NATO allies and Russia, to discuss the future of Russia’s concerns about NATO in general and whether or not we can work out any accommodations in terms of lowering the temperature.”
Joe Biden is still caving to pressure with Russia rather than aggressively. Imagine former President Donald Trump being in office during all of this and ask yourself how that would have gone.
Texas Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) tweeted:
Biden’s comments also worry some of NATO’s leaders, and Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas said, “Russia should under no circumstances be given a say in who may or may not be a member of NATO.”
The Biden administration denies that they’ve encouraged Ukraine to cede territory to Russia, and when asked, Press Secretary Jen Psaki said, “No, that is false.”
Ineptocracy
A system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.
