Biden Makes Major Mistake With Latin Nations – Joe Just Left Off 8 Nations From His Democracy Summit
Oops . . . another foreign policy SNAFU . . .

What’s Happening:
Joe Biden claims he cares about democracy, right? He recently claimed there are fewer democracies in the world today than there were years ago.
It’s up to the United States to pursue democracy and freedom all over the world. We are to be an example to other nations, at least that’s what previous presidents have done.
Recently Joe Biden put together a “Summit for Democracy.” That’s a good sign, right? He invited nations to attend as they spoke on values that much of the world shares. Yet, something was a miss. Because Biden failed to invite eight Latin American nations, catching people’s attention.
From The Miami Herald:
President Joe Biden’s Summit for Democracy started Thursday without the presence of eight Latin American and Caribbean nations…
Whether because of the autocratic nature of their governments, alleged connections to drug trafficking, dubious democratic credentials, or attacks to democratic institutions, the governments of Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Bolivia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Haiti have not been invited.
If Biden cares so much about democracy, why did he leave out eight countries that are in dire need of it? Biden’s “summit” neglected Latin American countries. Commentators say it had to do with these country’s lack of democracy and inability to curtail rising crime. Yet it seems like these are the countries Biden should have been prioritizing.
It’s even more dubious, considering the fact that so many people from these countries have been streaming over our border. If Biden really cared about the border crisis, as he’s claimed to be, then why isn’t he trying to address the problems these countries are facing?
Harris herself said they wanted to address the “root” causes of the border crisis, meaning problems in their home countries. But Biden snubbed some of these countries, including Haiti, Guatemala, and Honduras. Those are top countries hundreds of thousands of migrants originated from.
But are we really surprised? Is a man like Biden really the one to spread democracy around the world? Given the way he has treated his own citizens this past year, it doesn’t seem like he respects democracy in America. Or do you think a man who forced mandates on free citizens appreciates the values on which this country was founded?
Key Takeaways:
Biden snubbed eight countries during his “Summit for Democracy.”
The countries are centers of drug trafficking and other crime.
Hundreds of thousands of migrants have fled these countries to cross the border.

Ineptocracy
A system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.
