INEPTOCRACY CHRONICLES – After Biden Claims His Plan “Costs Zero Dollars” – Republicans Set The Record Straight, Say It Will Cost Trillions
Poor Joe . . . Spending $Trillions will cost everyone $Trillions and the inflation it will cause will cost the poor and disadvantaged an unfair share of the burden, not to mention our grandchildren.

President Joe Biden and the Democrats continue to push their pricey $3.5 trillion infrastructure bill, claiming it’s exactly what America needs to help it climb out of the pandemic.
On the flip side, Republicans and other right-wing politicos heavily criticize the proposal. They say it’ll only make the country’s problems worse, and far too much money is going to liberal causes.
Now, though, they’re slamming POTUS for flat-out “lying.”
While the two parties have argued over what items fall under the “infrastructure” umbrella, there was no doubt about the price tag: that $3.5T bill certainly seemed steep.
Biden and the Democrats have dubbed it their “Build Back Better” plan, and they’re claiming it will only impact the very wealthy. And at the same time, it’ll benefit the poor and middle class.
The impact the bill will have has been widely debated, that’s for certain.
However, there’s one detail Republicans have seized on — the idea that the massive proposal won’t cost America a dime.
That’s what President Biden tweeted last week, saying that in fact, his “Build Back Better Agenda costs zero dollars”:
Again, Biden is saying that only “big corporations and the wealthy” will pay the price. And it somehow doesn’t increase the already bloated national debt.
It sounds awfully attractive but many on Capitol Hill have called out the wild claim, especially Republicans who didn’t hold back when slamming the President’s tweet.
For example, former Republican Utah Congresswoman Mia Love said the President’s claim “is simply not true”:
She added that this is a big reason why so many U.S. citizens “don’t trust leaders in Washington.”
Republicans Sen. Tom Cotton (Ark.) and Rep. Lee Zeldin (N.Y.) chimed in, saying there’s no way the Build Back Better proposal is basically free. At the very least, they believe it’s misleading.
Cotton just said that Biden must be “confused” to think it won’t cost the country anything:
Later, another Arkansas Republican, Steve Womack, called Biden’s statement “completely false,” and noted that in fact, the bill is “the largest spending spree in American history.”
That’s really what has bothered many politicians and economy experts: the spending just seems totally out of control in this plan.
On top of that, many quickly point out that other Democrat plans often claim to help the poor and middle class, but in the end, the exact opposite happens.
This is what one retired veteran who’s currently running for Congress said:
It’s difficult to convince the populous that something with a $3.5 trillion price tag won’t actually increase the nation’s overall debt.
And it’s also tough to convince them that only the very rich will feel the crunch. Historically, other spending plans that have made similar claims haven’t worked out in favor of the “regular joes.”
This is one of the primary reasons Biden’s proposal has run into such stiff opposition.
And at this rate, the bill may not pass unless it goes through some heavy editing.
Key Takeaways:
President Joe Biden claimed that his $3.5T “Build Back Better” plan will cost America “zero dollars.”
Many quickly slammed the statement, including several Republican leaders who said it was “not true” and “completely false.”
Others point out that it will actually hurt everyone, including the middle class.

Ineptocracy
A system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.
