INEPTOCRACY CHRONICLES – Cori Bush: “Gimme My Security… But Defund The Police!”
It’s ironic, because you would think that a woman hailing from the most violent city in America would have more of an appreciation for the job that cops do and the safety they provide.

If you’ve read FreedomWire for ANY length of time, then you know that my biggest pet peeve is hypocrisy.
In my eyes, there should be a special place in hell reserved for career hypocrites—and if there is, you can bet that it’ll be chock full of Democrats because they’re the absolute WORST hypocritical offenders.
It’s their “rules for thee but not for me” mentality that makes them so hateworthy. They’ve shown time and time again that what they do and what they tell YOU to do are very different things.
Take, for example, the Obama birthday bash from this past weekend.
Former President Barack Obama had roughly 600 people at his 60th birthday celebration at his home in Martha’s Vineyard. They partied for three days straight, even while Obama and his fellow Democrats have been telling the world to social distance and wear a mask.
However, as bad as that is, that wasn’t the high point of last week’s public hypocritical displays.
That distinction goes to newly-crowned Squad member Cori Bush.
Cori Bush is a pro-BLM, anti-cop Congresswoman out of the deadliest city in the US: St. Louis, Missouri.
It’s ironic, because you would think that a woman hailing from the most violent city in America would have more of an appreciation for the job that cops do and the safety they provide.
Shouldn’t Congress Members CARE About Safety?
Apparently, that’s expecting too much.
Except Cori Bush does care about safety—just not the safety of anyone who isn’t herself.
You see, Bush thinks HER life is much more important than the lives of the people she represents, as evidenced by an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union” following her public campout protest for an extended eviction moratorium. When questioned by host Dana Bash, Bush told the entire world that her expensive private security is much more important than the security that the police provide actual taxpayers.
Bush responded to criticism of pushing for defunding the police while spending tens of thousands on private security stating: “Would they rather I die? You would rather me die? Is that what you want to see? You want to see me die? Because that could be the alternative. So, either I spend $70,000 on private security over the last few months and I’m here standing now and able to speak, able to help save eleven million people from being evicted, or I could possibly have a death attempt on my life. And we’re also talking about the same exact people who say horrible things about me, who lie to get — to build up their base, and then because they lie about me, I receive death threats.”
You don’t receive death threats because of the lies, Cori…unless you’re talking about your OWN lies and unfulfilled promises.
Seriously, watch this:
Isn’t it just like a Leftist to do a horrible job, get criticized, and then blame other people for that criticism?
Cori Bush Is More Important Than You
However, that’s not where Bush’s hypocrisy shined. It was when she added the next little statement that things really took a turn for the surreal.
“I’m going to make sure I have security,” Bush exclaimed. “Because I know I have had attempts on my life, and I have too much work to do. There are too many people that need help right now for me to allow that. So, if I end up spending 200,000, if I spend ten more dollars on it, you know what, I get to be here to do the work. So, suck it up. And defunding the police has to happen. We need to defund the police and put that money into social safety nets. Because we’re trying to save lives.”
Wow…
Imagine the lack of self-awareness required to say you need to spend taxpayer and campaign money so you can stay alive while putting the rest of your city at risk.
Bear in mind, Cori Bush represents St. Louis, the most violent and deadliest city in America.
How shameful!
Hopefully, her constituents are able to see through this hypocrisy and ensure that this woman never hold public office again.
If she doesn’t care about the citizens of her city, how can we expect her to care about any other American?
This hypocrite needs to go…and she can take the other Squad members with her.
“People sometimes rationalize their greed by saying that it is all for the good of their children but this is nothing but an excuse they use to make their despicable actions appear respectable and praiseworthy.” – Democritus
Ineptocracy
A system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.
