INEPTOCRACY CHRONICLES – Deal Or No Deal? Dysfunctional Democrats Can’t Reach Agreement On Biden’s Build Back Better Bills
Either Biden knows something the rest of us don’t know, or he is once again showcasing his ineptness as president. My money is on the latter . . .

“Deal or no deal?”
That’s the question that has Capitol Hill reporters running around like chickens with their heads cut off this morning, desperately trying to find out if Democrats have reached a deal on infrastructure and the $3.5 trillion Build Back Better bill.
The radical Left wing of the party and the more moderates towards the center are battling it out over two major spending bills: the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill and a massive $3.5 trillion liberal wish list masquerading as a budget reconciliation bill.
In a strategy of monumental idiocy, President Biden has tied the two bills together; either Dems pass the $3.5 trillion reconciliation package, or there is no infrastructure bill. End of story.
Of course, this is proving to be a foolish strategy because it boxes in the more moderate wing of the party, led by Joe Manchin and Krysten Sinema, who both support the infrastructure bill but don’t support the reconciliation bill.
President Biden visited Capitol Hill this morning to implore his fellow Democrats to back the two bills.
He told the Congressional Democrats that his presidency is on the line if they fail to act.
And then the confusion began.
A few minutes before Noon, Biden addressed the nation claiming that he had reached a “historic framework” on his Build Back Better social spending bill.
Biden said, “I’m pleased to announce that after months of tough and thoughtful negotiations, I think we have an historic — I know we have a historic economic framework.”
But what does that mean?
A framework is not the same as concrete legislation. According to Senator Bernie Sanders and others, there is no written text of a bill yet.
So, how could Biden speak to the nation and claim that “I know we have a historic economic deal”?
That is news to people like Bernie Sanders.
Fox News reported earlier this morning that before Biden took to the podium, Sanders said “he is not satisfied with the climate provision in President Biden’s reconciliation framework.”
Bernie said, “there will need to be improvements, and he will need to see the legislative text before making a final decision,” according to Fox News’ Jason Donner.
And Squad member Rep. Cori Bush said that she is a “no” on the infrastructure bill at this point.
Earlier in the morning, House Majority Leader Steny Horner said there was a chance the infrastructure bill would be brought forward for a vote, which seems implausible at this point given that it has been reported that Speaker Nancy Pelosi walked out of a meeting with progressive Democrats without saying a word to those in attendance or reporters.
That suggests that it is unlikely that a vote on infrastructure will take place today.
No doubt, President Biden wanted to save face and claim that he had a deal on “climate change” provisions so he could travel to Scotland for an upcoming climate change summit and impress his fellow globalists.
He wanted to be one of the cool kids.
As of now, there is still no deal as far as anyone can tell, but Biden is claiming victory anyway.
This is what dysfunctional Democrat-led governance looks like it. But, hey, at least we don’t have any mean tweets anymore.
And these are the people who want to run our lives for us…yet they can’t even reach an agreement on how they are going to do it.
Either Biden knows something the rest of us don’t know, or he is once again showcasing his ineptness as president.
My money is on the latter.
Ineptocracy
A system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.
