CNN still employing political operatives rather than true journalists to obstruct the real news and misrepresent the real issues.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt was mad as hell.
The target of Leavitt’s ire was a familiar foe.
And Karoline Leavitt exposed an ugly secret about CNN that will make your blood boil.
CNN ran a story based on an anonymous deep state leaker about a Defense Intelligence Agency assessment that the strikes President Trump ordered against Iran’s nuclear facilities had failed.
“Two of the people familiar with the assessment said Iran’s stockpile of enriched uranium was not destroyed. One of the people said the centrifuges are largely ‘intact.’ Another source said that the intelligence assessed enriched uranium was moved out of the sites prior to the US strikes,” CNN reported.
The President said the B-2’s dropping 14 bunkerbuster bombs on Iran’s nuclear facilities at Fordow, Netanz, and Esfahan obliterated Iran’s nuclear program.
CNN’s story quoted the anonymous deep state leaker as describing the damage as more of just a minor inconvenience.
“So the (DIA) assessment is that the US set them back maybe a few months, tops,” the deep state leaker told CNN.
Leavitt blasted the report as more anti-Trump fake news from CNN, calling the assessment “flat-out wrong” and the leaker a “loser.”
“This alleged “assessment” is flat-out wrong and was classified as “top secret” but was still leaked to CNN by an anonymous, low-level loser in the intelligence community,” Leavitt wrote on X.
Leavitt went on to say that the leak was an attempt to tarnish the successful strikes and smear President Trump and the pilots who carried out the mission as failures.
“The leaking of this alleged assessment is a clear attempt to demean President Trump and discredit the brave fighter pilots who conducted a perfectly executed mission to obliterate Iran’s nuclear program,” Leavitt added.
Leavitt also pointed out that the so-called “reporter” who wrote this story for CNN was the same leftwing activist who authored the infamous 2020 POLITICO story that falsely claimed the Hunter Biden laptop scandal was Russian disinformation.
“This CNN story was written by the same ‘reporter’ who wrote the very first FAKE NEWS story claiming the Hunter Biden laptop was disinformation,” Leavitt added.
Within hours, the CNN story fell apart.
Actual sources with real knowledge – like International Atomic Energy Agency Chief Rafael Grossi – went on the record to say the strikes President Trump ordered caused more damage than initially thought.
“International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) chief Rafael Grossi said Tuesday that the latest satellite images from the Fordow and Natanz facilities showed additional damage, beyond what the agency found in the first-pass review of the sites,” the New York Post reported.
The deep state wants Americans to think Trump’s strikes failed because, for decades, the deep state has planned for a regime-change war in Iran.
Iran potentially obtaining nuclear weapons was the excuse the deep state hoped to use to convince President Trump to go along with another forever war in the Middle East.
Trump’s strikes successfully defanged Iran’s nuclear program, meaning no regime-change war in Iran.
This leak was a desperate attempt to frame the narrative around the strikes as a failure in hopes to build pressure on Trump to order more air strikes and support changing the regime in Iran.
