International Energy Agency Wants to Ban Private Driving on Sundays
Another wacko liberal progressive idea . . . Sunday is the only day off a whole lot of people ever have . . .

A left-wing energy group wants to ban Americans from driving on Sunday’s as a “solution” to the energy crisis.
The International Energy Agency is calling for lockdowns of Americans in similar fashion as the COVID lockdowns that leftists are so excited about. The group has released its “10-Point Plan to Cut Oil Use” to “fix” the oil crisis.
The group’s plans call for reducing speed limits, more people working at home and not traveling, cutting business travel, imposing high taxes on larger vehicles, and outlawing driving on the weekends.
So much for freedom, huh?
“Governments have all the necessary tools at their disposal to put oil demand into decline in the coming years, which would support efforts to both strengthen energy security and achieve vital climate goals,” the report states.
Climate Depot’s Marc Morano noted that the plan was just like the left’s COVID lockdown policies.
“Instead of opening America back up for domestic energy production, we are told to suffer and do with less and are prescribed the same failed lockdown-style policies we endured for COVID,” Morano said.
“It is odd how COVID ‘solutions’ also allegedly helped the climate and now the same solutions are being touted to deal with Russia’s invasion of Ukraine,” he added.
Morano concluded that all these solutions always look the same: “hammer the poor and middle class with more restrictions on travel, less freedom, and even more surrendering of power to unelected government regulators.”

Ineptocracy
A system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.
