On Thursday, journalists from Accuracy in Media spoke with Susan Daggett, the wife of Colorado Sen. Michael Bennet. AIM captured the conversation on hidden camera.

In their conversation, Daggett revealed some of Bennet and his fellow Democrats’ secret plans with regard to police reform, reversing Trump tax cuts, and whether President Joe Biden should or will run for a second term.
Accuracy in Media first asked her about police reform.
“Well, I think, you know, Michael would say that calling it ‘defund the police’ is not the smartest move at the outset,” Daggett said. “Because that is not really what we are talking about, but you know, everything is partisan, right?
“Anything that can become a wedge issue is these days, and so probably the smartest thing is to try to take the temperature down.
“And you know, just quietly… the most successful efforts in Washington D.C. are the ones that you never see on the front page of the paper. Things that nobody is talking about, and that’s where the success happens…let the temperatures come down and then quietly allocate some funding to mental health, right? And to interventions that can help [police reform].”
Our journalist commented that the funding would have to be taken away from something else – likely the police. So according to what Daggett said, they would be avoiding the phrase “defund the police” but would still be a shift in funding.
“There are strategic ways to do it that would be just as effective, but, you know, not raise the flag,” she said.
Accuracy in Media then asked Daggett whether the same strategy was employed in passing the Inflation Reduction Act. She said yes.
Daggett later detailed Bennet’s further goals.
“Michael is first and foremost, he’s got some big priorities, immigration reform, dreamers, making the permanent health tax credit — he thinks about what we can do as a lame duck.
“So dreamers, tax credit, reversing the Trump tax cuts. Like, those are some of the big social things.
AIM asked to confirm that.
“So you think the lame duck might reverse the Trump tax cuts?” our journalist asked.
“I don’t know if he thinks that could happen there, but there are some. He thinks maybe the child tax credit could happen… I recognize the House is going to be a challenge, so lame duck is our last chance.
But perhaps the most surprising part of the conversation was when AIM asked whether Daggett thought that President Joe Biden would run again in 2024.
“I hope not,” Daggett said.
When asked whether she thought Bennet would run for president again, she said, “I don’t think so, I mean, I don’t know… it would just depend a lot on what the dynamics are… I mean, people like Gavin Newsom are talking about [running].”
