White House Is Touting Gas Prices As A Major 2021 Accomplishment
It's only because after another couple of years of Biden's war on fossil fuels, gasoline will cost A LOT MORE . . . ! And, the batteries alone in your new electric car will cost a minimum of $13,000.
One of the White House’s big successes in 2021 is lowering gas costs. During President Joe Biden’s first year in office, gas prices increased by more than a dollar. According to the White House, the price of petrol at the pump has reduced roughly 10 cents from its high.
According to the reports, fears that the fast-spreading Omicron version of the coronavirus will cause gas costs to rise push up prices. Biden stated during his 2020 campaign that he would “shut down the virus, not the country.”
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee applauded a two-cent reduction in gas prices. It isn’t the first time Democrats have attempted to portray rising gas prices as a good thing. The DCCC tweeted, “Thanks, Joe Biden,” with a graph showing a drop in gas prices over two weeks in November.
Shortly after entering office, President Joe Biden signed executive orders aimed at the oil and gas sector, including canceling the Keystone XL project. A federal court overturned the second order, but the administration is currently battling a lawsuit brought by the Republicans to overturn the moratorium. A federal court handed back the power to ban drilling on federal lands to Congress in June.
Therefore Republicans believe that the measures have harmed American energy independence and skyrocketing oil costs. Rep. Fred Upton (R. Mich.) remarked, “American families are paying the price during a Tuesday floor speech.”

Ineptocracy
A system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.
